What is Eyebrow Microblading?
Eyebrow Microblading is a method of applying of semi-permanent make-up.
Microblading is done by manually inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin to give the impression of fullness and shape to the eyebrows.
It is done via a manual blade so strokes are sharp and crisp.
The results of this method should look natural and just like hair strokes.
How does semi-permanent make-up work?
Semi-permanent makeup involves having pigment implanted into the epidermis using a fine needle. It is similar to a tattoo but the process is less painful. In fact, the “ink” used is usually mineral based and the results are not permanent.
When it comes to having micro-blading done, Jade will take six measurements on your brow bone to make out the perfect shape, and colour for your brows.
The process usually takes two hours and one touch up will be needed to get your final result. It is usually scheduled between four to six weeks after the first session. Allow one hour for the touch up.
IMPORTANT: the touch-up must be completed within 3 months to avoid additional charges.
The healing process is relatively quick. However, final results may not be visible until several weeks after your appointment because of how the skin heals.
The results will not wash off and usually last for a couple of years. Nevertheless, it can be maintained and kept for longer with touch ups, usually one a year.
