GRATIN DAUPHINOIS

Preparation time: 30min

Cooking time: 1h30

imagesPreparation For about 4 pers:

  1. 2kg of potatoes
  2. 300g of sour cream
  3. Cheese (normally gruyere but you can use any cheese for gratin)
  4. Milk
  5. Salt, pepper & nutmeg

 

First make thin slices of your potatoes,

 In a big Gratin Dish (use a recipient with a cover or use aluminum foil to cover) put 1 layer of sliced potatoes, some sour cream, some cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Repeat the layers of potatoes, cream, and cheese…. until there is no more potatoes….

 Then put some milk at the top of it, it has to cover half of the Gratin Dish,

 Put in the oven for about 1h30 at 200°c!
